Just a quick note to all of you who are interested to know that Mike, Susie, Lynnee and I have made is safely to Cape Town. This would be our second stop of our six weeks here in the southern parts of Africa. Our first stop was a quick 10 hour layover in Paris where we were able to explore the beautiful city. We can see why it’s claimed to be so romantic. 36 (ish) hours after leaving LAX, we touched down in Cape Town and crashed pretty quickly atop our pillows. Our first day out (Friday), we’ve already seen a number of animals we weren’t expecting to see so soon.
