This last weekend us kids were able to throw my parents a surprise birthday party down here on the Central Coast. We had an attendance of about sixty close friends and family who traveled from far and wide. Many we haven’t seen since we were mere munchkins. We were able to pull off a successful surprise after two months of planning!!! Thanks to everyone who knew for helping us keep it a secret.

Just over a month ago we attended a wedding of a friend from childhood. Molly’s best friend. They asked me to shoot some video. I took this on as a challenge to push myself creatively with a new media. I’ve been needing some outlets to get my creative juices flowing again. There is a TON of work involved in this type of project. It gave me a glimpse of ways to better shoot and edit an event and mold it into a short story. I’m in DC!!!! Out here visiting some wonderful friends David and Angela Church. Today’s excitement was a trip to Six Flags America in Maryland. Perfect day with few people. Here’s a clip to see some of the rides we went on.
